Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has numerous databases. About a third of the databases contain survey data on drug abuse. Individual databases contain specific data on Blacks, Hispanics, Mexicans, Native Americans, as well as persons with AIDS. About a quarter of databases cover alcohol related health outcomes and a quarter cover mental health. Of the mental health databases, one focuses on Puerto Ricans, and one on Native Americans. The alcohol databases include one specific to Native Americans. An additional database is included on fatal accidents.
