From I-40 West and the Research Triangle Park 

·        Take Exit #279/Durham Freeway North/US 147 North         

·        Take the Alston Avenue Exit (#11)         

·        Make a left turn at the traffic signal. 

·        Go through 3 traffic signals. 

·        At the 4^th traffic signal (Cecil Street) make a right. 

·        Make a right onto the next street (Lincoln) at the traffic signal. 

·        Go through the intersection and the BBRI parking lot and main entrance will be on your left. Park in a Visitor’s parking space.
 

From the Durham Freeway (HWY 147 South) 

·        Take the Alston Avenue Exit (#11). 

·        Make a right turn at the traffic signal. 

·        Go through 2 traffic signals. 

·        At the 3^rd traffic signal (Cecil Street) make a right. 

·        Make a right at the next traffic signal (Lincoln Street). 

·         Go through the intersection and around the curve and the BBRI parking lot will be on your left. 

Once you are inside, please sign in and the receptionist will give you a visitor’s parking decal.

From Chapel Hill via I-40 East 

·        Take the Fayetteville Road Exit (#276). 

·        Take a left and follow Fayetteville Road for several miles. You will go through several lights, around a deep curve, and pass Hillside High School on the right. 

·        At the 5^th light after the entrance to the high school, take a right on Cecil Street.  

·        Go to the next light and make a left on Lincoln Street.  

·        Go through the intersection and around the curve. The entrance of the BBRI will be on your left. 

From Chapel Hill via HWY 54 East 

·        Follow Highway 54 East to Highway 55 North in Durham and turn left on HWY 55. (You will pass Dominos Pizza, Residence Inn, and Chick-Fil-A.) 

·        Travel for several miles, crossing under I-40 and through traffic signals at Meridian Parkway, Carpenter Fletcher Road, Riddle Road, and Cornwallis Road.         

·        Make a left at the next traffic signal, Cecil Street. (Burger King and an Exxon gas station will be on your right.) 

·        Make a right at the next traffic signal, Lincoln Street. 

·        Go through the intersection and around the curve. The BBRI parking lot will be on your left. 

Once you are inside, please sign in and the receptionist will give you a visitor’s parking decal.
