Minutes from July 11,2001
I. Introductions/ Announcements Attendance:
Rachel Davis, Zoe Enga, Annice Kim, Sara Ackerman, Vic Schoenbach, Aundra Shields, Sacoby Wilson, Maceo Thomas.
II. Description of subcommittees/ volunteers:
Brief description of sub committee roles was given with a call for volunteers. Majority of those in attendance volunteered for the speaker committee. Request was made for written expectations of each committee.
III. Brainstorming of Breakout sessions:
Group brainstormed potential conference break out session (see attached page). Vic proposed the idea of breaking the sessions in general headings (not a exhaustive list):
IV. Presentation of evaluation of 2001 conference Annice Kim Annice gave a summary of her (and Paul Massina's) evaluation that will be found on the web shortly. She explained the original purpose of the evaluation was to give written documentation to a sponsor (Office of Women's Health). They received evaluations from participants , funders/exhibitors, planning members and from the satellite broadcast facilitators.
