Veronica Conti
MPH/MCRP Candidate 2013

Veronica Conti is a first year master’s student in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education, UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. She is also pursuing a dual master’s degree in City and Regional Planning. Veronica grew up in the DC metro area and attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where she majored in Nutritional Sciences. After graduating she completed the Emerson National Hunger Fellowship in Chicago and DC followed by a year of AmeriCorps service in Seattle. She currently works as a graduate assistant with Active Living By Design. She is most interested in exploring the intersection of the built environment and health towards increasing access to nutritious foods and physical activity.
