Edwin B. Fisher: In memoriam

• In memory of Edwin B. Fisher, peer support champion and public health advocate
  (July 16, 2026) The UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health is saddened at the passing of Edwin B. Fisher, PhD, former chair of the Department of Health Behavior, pivotal public health researcher, and longtime advocate for mental and public health. Fisher died on June 30, 2026, after a years-long battle with cancer.
