Information for video downlink sites

How to host a site

  1. Make sure your satellite system is available and capable of receiving the program. It must have a settable antenna capable of receiving c-band. (Exact satellite technical specifications are displayed at the time of on-line registration.)

  2. Assign a site facilitator.

  3. Register on-line.

  4. Read and agree the site agreement form.

  5. There is no site fee this year.

  6. Have participants sign in (please use the attendance form posted on our website).

  7. Return the attendance forms to us by mail or fax.

We will post your site location on our web page. We can also post information about your specific site's arrangements, to which you can then refer in your own publicity.

Registered sites may choose to charge attendees a fee to cover the cost of participating.

Broadcast times:

The five broadcasts will begin at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) with test signal (color bars) audio tone.   Actual program begins at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) and ends at 4:25 p.m. (EDT).

There will be an ADDITIONAL half-hour of test time on Friday, June 14, at 13:00 EDT, so that you can work out any difficulties prior to the day of the Videoconference.
